Common use of Agree to Negotiate Clause in Contracts

Agree to Negotiate. In the event that both parties mutually agree to negotiate on matters within the scope of representation during the term of the Contract, each such negotiation will be limited to six (6) hours. If no agreement is reached within six (6) hours, the parties will immediately mutually declare impasse and seek appointment of a mediator by the Public Employment Relations Board.
