Common use of Administrative Discipline Clause in Contracts

Administrative Discipline. 13.1 The Association acknowledges the administrative responsibilities and functions of the Board to impose discipline and, in particular, the delegation of disciplinary powers and duties to appropriate officers (Department Chairs and Deans) in accordance with Article 4. Accordingly, Deans and Department Chairs may investigate the actions of staff members and take appropriate disciplinary action when such discipline is warranted.
