FISCAL IMPACT The fiscal impact is $1,266,750. Funding is from Operations and Maintenance Funds. Funding required in current and subsequent fiscal years will be allocated from the Operations and Maintenance Funds, as approved through the budget process and when funds become available.
EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A leave of absence without pay of up to one (1) contract year may be granted to any employee, upon application, for the purpose of engaging in study at an accredited college or university reasonably related to professional responsibilities.
PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The parties’ support the principle of continuing training of teachers, participation by teachers in professional organizations in the areas of their specialization, leaves for work on advanced degrees or special studies, foreign travel and participation in community educational projects.
Financial Impact The school anticipates that the requested waivers will have no financial impact on Denver Public Schools or the school. How the Impact of the Waivers Will be Evaluated: Since this area has a critical impact on the performance of the entire school, the impact of this waiver will be measured by the same performance criteria and assessments that apply to the school, as set forth in this Charter School Agreement.
Professional Improvement Leave A teacher may be granted leave to be used for the teacher's professional improvement. Professional improvement days may be approved by the superintendent and used for the purpose of:
Off-Site Environmental Impacts Nothing in this Article will be construed to make Company liable in any way for any environmental impacts or release of Hazardous Substances affecting the Company Premises that occurs by reason of the migration or flow to the Company Premises from verifiable or documented off-site environmental impacts that is not attributable to Company’s activities at the Company Premises.
Required Procurement Procedures for Obtaining Goods and Services The Grantee shall provide maximum open competition when procuring goods and services related to the grant-assisted project in accordance with Section 287.057, Florida Statutes.
