Common use of Accumulation of Sick Leave Credits Clause in Contracts

Accumulation of Sick Leave Credits. Full-time employees who have completed the probationary period shall then accumulate sick leave credits at the rate of 7.5 hours (1 credit) for each period of 162.5 hours paid, to a maximum of thirty (30 credits). Providing credits are available, employees will be eligible to claim one hundred percent (100%) of scheduled lost time due to legitimate illness.
