Academic Facilitator – High School. The Academic Facilitator at Solon High School will be recognized as a certificated/licensed employee and be represented by the certificated/licensed employee’s Association. Thus, an academic facilitator’s hourly rate of compensation shall be determined by the schedule below and applied to the Bachelor’s base with no experience. Benefits provided will be equivalent to that provided to other certificated staff.   • ACADEMIC FREEDOM A. The parties seek to educate young people in the democratic tradition, to xxxxxx a recognition of individual freedom and social responsibility to inspire meaningful awareness of a respect for the Constitution and the Xxxx of Rights, and to instill appreciation of the values of individual responsibility. It is recognized that these democratic values can best be transmitted in an atmosphere that is free from censorship and artificial restraints upon free inquiry and learning, and in which academic freedom for teacher and student is encouraged.

  • Team Teaching Unit members participating in team teaching assignments will receive formula hour credit in proportion to the percentage of in-class involvement. When team-taught class sizes exceed the normal, the formula conditions specified in Section 4.3.3 shall apply.

  • Research, Science and Technology Cooperation 1. The aims of cooperation in research, science and technology, carried out in the mutual interest of the Parties and in compliance with their policies, will be: (a) to build on existing agreements already in place for cooperation on research, science and technology; (b) to encourage, where appropriate, government agencies, research institutions, universities, private companies and other research organizations in the Parties to conclude direct arrangements in support of cooperative activities, programs or projects within the framework of this Agreement, specially related to trade and commerce; and (c) to focus cooperative activities towards sectors where mutual and complementary interests exist, with special emphasis on information and communication technologies and software development to facilitate trade between the Parties. 2. The Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities including, but not limited to:

  • Collaboration We believe joint effort toward common goals achieves trust and produces greater impact for L.A. County’s youngest children and their families.

  • Curriculum Development This includes the analysis and coordination of textual materials; constant review of current literature in the field, some of which are selected for the college library collection, the preparation of selective, descriptive materials such as outlines and syllabi; conferring with other faculty and administration on curricular problems; and, the attendance and participation in inter and intra-college conferences and advisory committees.

  • High Schools Wherever possible, no more than eighty students shall be tested at any one time.

  • Contractor Cooperation CONTRACTOR shall actively participate and cooperate with County, State and/or federal representatives in the monitoring, assessment and evaluation processes, including making any program and any administrative staff (fiscal, etc.) available at the request of such representatives.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation. This shall not be applicable to firms and/or individuals providing responses to a publicly posted Request for Information (RFI) associated with a solicitation.

  • Development cooperation 1. The Parties recognise that development cooperation is a crucial element of their Partnership and an essential factor in the realisation of the objectives of this Agreement as laid down in Article 1. This cooperation can take financial and non-financial forms.

  • Library CONTRACTOR shall provide an inmate law library in compliance with Rule 33-501.301, F.A.C., FDC’s Policy 501.301, and ACA Standards.
