Development Cooperation. 1. The Parties recognise that development cooperation is a crucial element of their Partnership and an essential factor in the realisation of the objectives of this Agreement as laid down in Article 1. This cooperation can take financial and non-financial forms.
Development Cooperation. 1. The Parties commit to cooperating in order to implement this Agreement and to support the SADC EPA States’ trade and development strategies within the overall SADC regional integration process. The cooperation may take both financial and non-financial forms.

The primary goal of development cooperation is to encourage sustainable development that will contribute to the reduction of poverty and to the attainment of internationally agreed development goals including the Millennium Development Goals. The Community recognizes that ASEAN is a developing region and will expand its cooperation with ASEAN in order to contribute to ASEAN's efforts in enhancing its self-reliance and economic resilience and social well-being of its peoples through projects to accelerate the development of the ASEAN countries and of the region as a whole.

The Parties recognise that there is a potential for an increased Community contribution, both in terms of size and impact, to the development efforts of Bangladesh, more partic- ularly in the strategic fields of poverty alleviation. Activities undertaken in these areas shall, where appropriate, put special emphasis on women. In light of the above and in accordance with Community policies, regulations and the limits of financial means available for cooperation, the Parties agree that cooperation will continue to be developed within the context of a clear coopera- tion strategy and dialogue aimed at defining mutually agreed priorities, and pursuing effectiveness and sustainability.
Development Cooperation. 1. The central objectives of development cooperation are achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (and any subsequent development benchmarks), poverty eradication, sustainable development and integration into the world economy, with particular attention to the most vulnerable elements in society. The Parties recognise that their cooperation is key to addressing Afghanistan’s development challenges and that institution building should be a fundamental part of it.
Development Cooperation. The Community recognises Cambodia's need for development assistance and is prepared to step up its cooperation in order to contribute to that country's own efforts to achieve sustainable economic development and the social progress of its people through concrete projects and programmes in accordance with the priorities set out in Council Regulation (EEC) No 443/92 of 25 February 1992 on financial and technical assistance to, and Economic cooperation with, the developing countries in Asia and Latin America. In accordance with the abovementioned Regulation, assistance will be targeted mainly on the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the country and on the poorest sections of the population. In cooperation, priority will be given to schemes aimed at alleviating poverty, and in particular those likely to create jobs, xxxxxx development at grassroots level and promote the role of women in development. The Parties will also encourage the adoption of appropriate measures to prevent and combat AIDS and take steps to increase grassroots development and education on AIDS and the operational capacity of the health services. Cooperation between the Parties will also address the problem of drugs to encourage and enhance training, education, health care and the rehabilitation of addicts. The Parties acknowledge the importance of human resources development, social development, the improvement of living and working conditions, the development of skills and the protection of the most vulnerable sections of the population. Human resources and social development must be an integral part of economic and development cooperation. Appropriate consideration shall therefore be given to training objectives addressing institutional needs and specific vocational training activities aimed at enhancing the skills of the local workforce. In view of its major contribution to mine-clearance programmes in Cambodia, the Community will, in its future commitments, continue to concentrate on mutually agreed priorities to ensure that assistance is effective and lasting. Proceeding from the mutual commitments made at the Kabul, Bonn and Tokyo conferences, development cooperation between the Parties will seek to build democracy in Afghanistan and professional and human resource capacity, promote economic growth and build a society where all Afghans can build a better, safer and more prosperous country.
Development Cooperation. Landlord and Tenant, and as long as a UT Sublease is in effect, U.T. and UT System, will cooperate with each other in the development of the Land by Tenant and U.T. and the development by Landlord of the remainder of the Central Health Downtown Campus. Tenant and U.T. specifically acknowledge that Xxxxxxxx’s development of the remainder of the Central Health Downtown Campus is subject to City zoning and other applicable regulations, and Tenant and U.T. will not develop the Land by means or methods that conflict with Landlord’s obligations to or agreements with the City of Austin as of the Commencement Date. In no event will Landlord seek the City of Austin’s approval to rezone Block 164 or Block 167 without Tenant’s prior written consent and approval.
