Common use of Absence to Vote Clause in Contracts

Absence to Vote. Employees who are qualified to vote and who are unable to do so outside of their scheduled tours of duty shall be excused with pay for the necessary time not to exceed two hours or to the extent required by law, for the purpose of voting in a municipal, county, state, or national election.
