24c Safety. Dangerous Devices/Weapons: Possession, use or threatened use of firearms, ammunition, explosives, firecrackers, hunting knives, dangerous chemicals, or any other objects as weapons on University property except as expressly authorized by law or University regulations is prohibited. Misuse of personal defensive devices (e.g., xxxx, pepper spray, electroshock weapons, etc.) laser pointers and common every day objects with the intent to harm may be considered dangerous devices (steak knives, lighters, etc.). Air weapons are considered “near lethal” and as such are not allowed on campus.

  • ATM Safety It is important to be aware of your surroundings when using an ATM, especially at night. When you are using an ATM, you should secure any cash you withdraw before leaving the ATM. If you need to use an ATM at night, consider taking someone you know with you, and only use an ATM that is well-lit and unobstructed from view.
