Depository Bill definition

Depository Bill has the meaning ascribed thereto in the Depository Bills and Notes Act (Canada);
Depository Bill and "DEPOSITORY NOTE" have the meanings given by the DXXX.
Depository Bill means a depository bill, as such term is defined in the Depository Bills and Notes Act (Canada) (as such legislation may be amended, replaced or otherwise modified from time to time).

  • It is the intention of the parties that all Bankers’ Acceptances accepted by the Lenders (other than a Lender which elects to accept Bankers’ Acceptances in the form of bills of exchange instead of Depository Bills) under this Agreement shall be issued in the form of a Depository Bill, be deposited with and be made payable to a “clearing house” (as defined in the Depository Bills and Notes Act (Canada)).

  • Depository Account includes any commercial, checking, savings, time, or thrift account, or an account that is evidenced by a certificate of deposit, thrift certificate, investment certificate, certificate of indebtedness, or other similar instrument maintained by a Financial Institution in the ordinary course of a banking or similar business.   • Securities Depository means The Depository Trust Company and any other clearing agency registered with the SEC under Section 17A of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “1934 Act”), which acts as a system for the central handling of Securities where all Securities of any particular class or series of an issuer deposited within the system are treated as fungible and may be transferred or pledged by bookkeeping entry without physical delivery of the Securities.

  • Custody Account means each Securities custody account on Bank's records to which Financial Assets are or may be credited pursuant hereto.

  • Depository The Depository Trust Company, or any successor Depository hereafter named. The nominee of the initial Depository for purposes of registering those Certificates that are to be Book-Entry Certificates is Cede & Co. The Depository shall at all times be a "clearing corporation" as defined in Section 8-102(a)(5) of the Uniform Commercial Code of the State of New York and a "clearing agency" registered pursuant to the provisions of Section 17A of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
