All Properties serviced by the West County Wastewater District (“WCWD”) must have a video inspection of the sewer lateral prior to the Close of Escrow unless there is a Certificate of Compliance on file with the WCWD.
If checked, prior to Close of Escrow, Seller shall provide Buyer with written proof that Seller has been approved by the WCWD for a hardship deferral which is a prerequisite to extend completion of the repairs until after Close of Escrow.
NOTE: WCWD has stated that costs may not be passed on to the Buyer.
If checked, Seller warrants that a Sewer Lateral Inspection has been performed and that the Sanitary Sewer Lateral is in Compliance with WCWD guidelines.
Cost of the Inspection shall be paid by Seller which is consistent with WCWD guidelines.

The current WCWD policy is that if the home has previously been sold since 2008 without obtaining WCWD compliance, then no hardship deferral will be granted.
