Military status means a person's status in "service in the uniformed services" as defined in section 5923.05 of the Revised Code.
Eligible veteran means an individual who is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs as meeting all of the following conditions:
Disabled veteran means a veteran who (i) has either lost, or lost the use of, a leg, arm, or hand;
Veteran means an individual who served in the uniformed services and who was discharged or released from the uniformed services under conditions other than dishonorable.
Qualified Military Service means any service in the uniformed services (as defined in chapter 43 of title 38, United States Code) by any individual if such individual is entitled to reemployment rights under such chapter with respect to such service and to the Employer.
Qualified veteran means a person who meets the following requirements:
Qualified disabled veteran means a business entity that is 51% or more owned by one or more veterans with a service- connected disability.
Probationary status means the 12-month period following
Catastrophic disability means a physical and not a psychological
Military service means honorably serving on federal active duty, state active duty, or national guard duty, as defined in Iowa Code section 29A.1; in the military services of other states, as provided in 10 U.S.C. Section 101(c); or in the organized reserves of the United States, as provided in 10 U.S.C. Section 10101.
Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16).
Service disabled veteran business means a business that is at least 51 percent owned by one or more service disabled veterans or, in the case of a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company or other entity, at least 51 percent of the equity ownership interest in the corporation, partnership, or limited liability company or other entity is owned by one or more individuals who are service disabled veterans and both the management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more individuals who are service disabled veterans.
Covered veteran means an individual who was a member of the Armed Forces (including a member of the National Guard or Reserves), and was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable at any time during the five-year period prior to the first date the eligible employee takes FMLA leave to care for the covered veteran.
Armed Forces service medal veteran means any veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985 (61 FR 1209).
Level VI Status exists at any date if, on such date, the Borrower has not qualified for Level I Status, Level II Status, Level III Status, Level IV Status or Level V Status.
Student with a disability is defined as an individual who: ● is still enrolled in secondary school and has not exited, graduated, or withdrawn; ● is at least 14 years old but less than 22; ● and has a disability (i.e., receives services under an IEP or 504 plan, or has a disability for purposes of section 504). The limited Pre-ETS that may be provided, based on identified need and the availability of services, include: ● Job exploration counseling ● Work-based learning experiences, which may include in-school or after school opportunities, experiences outside of the traditional school setting, and/or internships ● Counseling on opportunities for enrollment in comprehensive transition or post- secondary educational programs ● Workplace readiness training to develop social skills and independent living ● Instruction in self-advocacy Authorizations for Pre-ETS. DORS only pays for Pre-ETS services that have been previously authorized by a DORS official in writing. Pre-ETS Reporting: Completion of the Pre-Employment Transition Services Progress Report (Rs10f), Work Based Learning Experience Agreement (Rs10g), Work Based Learning Experience on site workplace readiness Training Report (Rs10e), or approved alternative form is required at the conclusion of the training or at agreed upon intervals.
Person with a developmental disability means a person
refugee status means the recognition by a Member State of a third-country national or a stateless person as a refugee;
Level I Status exists at any date if, as of the last day of the fiscal quarter of the Borrower referred to in the most recent Financials, the Leverage Ratio is less than 1.00 to 1.00.
Individual with a disability means an individual who:
Physical disability means a severe, chronic condition that is attributable to a physical impairment that results in substantial limitations of physical functioning in three or more of the following areas of major life activities: self-care, receptive and expressive language, learning, mobility, self-direction, capacity for independent living, and economic self-sufficiency.
Developmental disability means that condition defined in RCW 71A.10.020(5);
Flood or flooding means a general and temporary condition of partial or complete inundation of normally dry land areas from:
Catastrophic illness or "Injury" means an illness or injury that is expected to incapacitate the employee for an extended period of time, or that incapacitates a member of the employee's family which incapacity requires the employee to take time off from work for an extended period of time to care for that family member, and taking extended time off work creates a financial hardship for the employee because he or she has exhausted all of his or her sick leave and other paid time off.
Qualified individual with a disability means an individual with a disability who satisfies the requisite skill, experience, education and other job-related requirements of the employment position such individual holds or desires, and who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of such position.
Level IV Status exists at any date if, on such date, (i) the Borrower has not qualified for Level I Status, Level II Status or Level III Status and (ii) the Borrower's Xxxxx'x Rating is Baa3 or better or the Borrower's S&P Rating is BBB- or better.
