Structural safety definition

Structural safety means the continued capability of either of the following:
Structural safety means the continued capability of load bearing members of a building or structure to transmit actual and design live and dead loads to a foundation or other load-bearing members within the allowable working stresses of the materials or assembly of materials involved.
Structural safety means: The level of safety to which the wind turbine has been designed and dimensioned in order to withstand the loads to which it is likely to be subject and to function throughout its expected operational life.
