Solicitation of Offers from Vendors means a notice to potential vendors of investment services prepared by the OIC informing the potential vendor of the needs of the Deferred Compensation Investment Program and notice that the OIC will accept offers from qualified vendors to sign a contract with the State of Oregon providing for the vendorsacceptance of deposits under the terms and conditions of the contract.

  • Solicitations means ITBs and RFPs.

  • Solicitation of a romantic relationship means deliberate or repeated acts that can be reasonably interpreted as the solicitation by an educator of a relationship with a student that is romantic in nature. A romantic relationship is often characterized by a strong emotional or sexual attachment and/or patterns of exclusivity, but does not include appropriate educator-student relationships that arise out of legitimate contexts such as familial connections or longtime acquaintance. The following acts, considered in context, may constitute prima facie evidence of the solicitation by an educator of a romantic relationship with a student:

  • Solicitation Materials means, collectively, the solicitation materials with respect to the Plan.

  • Letter of Offer means any letter, commitment, arrangement or agreement between us and you in relation to the facility. We may revise, add to, vary or replace the letter of offer from time to time.

  • Solicitation means a request for proposals (RFP) or a request for quotations (RFQ) in negotiation.

  • State contract solicitation means a request by a state agency or quasi-public agency, in whatever form issued, including, but not limited to, an invitation to bid, request for proposals, request for information or request for quotes, inviting bids, quotes or other types of submittals, through a competitive procurement process or another process authorized by law waiving competitive procurement.

  • Non-Solicitation Period means a period of 12 months after the termination of Executive’s employment with the Company.

  • Solicitation” or "Request for Applications (RFA means the document (including all amendments and attachments) issued by the System Agency under which applications for Program funds were requested, which is incorporated by reference for all purposes in its entirety.

  • Home solicitation sale means a sale of goods or services of more than $25.00 in which the seller or a person acting for the seller engages in a personal, telephonic, or written solicitation of the sale, the solicitation is received by the buyer at a residence of the buyer, and the buyer's agreement or offer to purchase is there given to the seller or a person acting for the seller. Home solicitation sale does not include any of the following:

  • Solicitation Amendment (or Addendum means a written document that is authorized by the Procurement Officer and issued for the purpose of making changes to the Solicitation.

  • Bid Solicitation means a formal request for Bids, including Informal Quotation, Request for Quotation, Request for Pre-Qualification, Request for Tender, Request for Proposal, Request for Expression of Interest, or Request for Information.

  • Information that has not been made public means any information to which the public does not generally have access, and that is pro- hibited from disclosure under Government Code Chapter 552 (the Public Information Act).

  • Telephone solicitation means any voice communication over a telephone for the purpose of encouraging the recipient of the call to purchase, rent, or invest in goods or services during that telephone call. Telephone solicitation does not include any of the following:

  • Borrower Solicitation of Discount Range Prepayment Offers means the solicitation by any Company Party of offers for, and the corresponding acceptance by a Lender of, a voluntary prepayment of Term Loans at a specified range of discounts to par pursuant to Section 2.05(a)(v)(C).

  • Direct response solicitation means a solicitation through a sponsoring or endorsing entity or individually solely through mails, telephone, the Internet or other mass communication media.

  • Borrower Solicitation of Discounted Prepayment Offers means the solicitation by any Company Party of offers for, and the subsequent acceptance, if any, by a Lender of, a voluntary prepayment of Term Loans at a discount to par pursuant to Section 2.05(a)(v)(D).

  • Acceptance of offer means issue of letter of intent/award or memorandum or detailed Order/Contract communicating the acceptance of offer, to the successful Tenderer.

  • Competitive Solicitation means a formal, advertised procurement process, other than an Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposals, or Invitation to Negotiate, approved by the Board to purchase commodities and/or services which affords vendors fair treatment in the competition for award of a District purchase contract.

  • Solicitation Response or "Application" means Grantee’s full and complete response (including any attachments and addenda) to the Solicitation, which is incorporated by reference for all purposes in its entirety.

  • Solicitation Amendment means a written document that is authorized by the Procurement Officer and issued for the purpose of making changes to the Solicitation.

  • Solicitation Procedures Order means the order entered by the Bankruptcy Court on December 10, 2007 authorizing the procedures by which solicitation of votes on this Plan is to take place, among other matters.

  • Promotion of Access to Information Act ’ means the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000);

  • Statement of Additional Information means, respectively, the form of prospectus and statement of additional information with respect to the Fund filed by the Investment Company as part of the Registration Statement, or as they may be amended or supplemented from time to time.

  • Request for Release A release signed by a Servicing Officer, in the form of Exhibit E attached hereto.

  • Medicaid Notification of Termination Requirements Any Contractor accessing payments for services under the Global Commitment to Health Waiver and Medicaid programs who terminates their practice will follow the Department of Vermont Health Access, Managed Care Organization enrollee notification requirements.

  • Non-Public Personal Information about a Shareholder shall mean (i) personally identifiable financial information; (ii) any list, description, or other grouping of consumers that is derived from using any personally identifiable information that is not publicly available; and (iii) any other information that the Transfer Agent is prohibited from using or disclosing pursuant to Regulation S-P under Section 504 of the Gramm Xxxxx Xxxxxx Act.
