Security and Privacy Breach definition

Security and Privacy Breach means any unauthorised or improper access to, collection, use or disclosure of, or failure to protect any non-public confidential or personal information, whether or not it is associated with any electronic data breach, including, but not limited to, any patents, Trade Secrets, processing methods, customer lists, financial information, credit card information, health information, or any other type of non-public information.

  • Privacy Breach means a common law breach of confidence, infringement, or violation of any rights to privacy, including but not limited to breach of the Insured’s privacy statement, breach of a person’s right of publicity, false light, intrusion upon a person’s seclusion, public disclosure of a person’s privacy information, or misappropriation of a person’s picture or name for commercial gain.

  • Information Privacy and Security Laws means all applicable laws concerning the privacy, data protection, transfer, or security of Personal Confidential Information, including, to the extent applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU), other state, and federal, data security laws, data breach notification laws, and consumer protection laws.

  • Data Privacy Laws means any state or national law or regulation protecting the privacy, confidentiality, or security of Personal Information.

  • Data Breaches Party shall report to AHS, though its Chief Information Officer (CIO), any impermissible use or disclosure that compromises the security, confidentiality or privacy of any form of protected personal information identified above within 24 hours of the discovery of the breach.   • Data Breach means the unauthorized access by an unauthorized person that results in the use, disclosure or theft of Customer Data.

  • Company Privacy Policy means each external or internal, past or present privacy policy of the Company, including any policy relating to (i) the privacy of users of the Company Products or of any Company Website, (ii) the collection, storage, disclosure, and transfer of any User Data or Personal Data, and (iii) any employee information.

  • Information Security Breach means the unauthorized acquisition, access, use, disclosure, transmittal, storage or transportation of Confidential Information which is not permitted by law or by the terms of this Amendment, including, but not limited to, a Security Incident.

  • Privacy Shield means the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework self-certification program operated by the U.S. Department of Commerce and approved by the European Commission pursuant to Decision C(2016)4176 of 12 July 2016 and by the Swiss Federal Council on January 11, 2017 respectively.

  • Privacy Act means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  • Covered contractor information system means an information system that is owned or operated by a contractor that processes, stores, or transmits Federal contract information.

  • Privacy Statement means any and all of the Company's privacy policies published on its web site or otherwise provided to users of the Company's products and services or the Company's data subjects regarding the collection, use and distribution of personal information from visitors to its web site, consumers of its products and services and/or the Company's data subjects, as applicable;

  • Consumer Information Any personally identifiable information in any form (written electronic or otherwise) relating to a Mortgagor, including, but not limited to: a Mortgagor’s name, address, telephone number, Mortgage Loan number, Mortgage Loan payment history, delinquency status, insurance carrier or payment information, tax amount or payment information; the fact that the Mortgagor has a relationship with the Seller or Servicer or the originator of the related Mortgage Loan; and any other non-public personally identifiable information.

  • Customer Data means any content, materials, data and information that Authorized Users enter into the production system of a Cloud Service or that Customer derives from its use of and stores in the Cloud Service (e.g. Customer-specific reports). Customer Data and its derivatives will not include SAP’s Confidential Information.

  • Contractor information system means an information system belonging to, or operated by or for, the Contractor.
