Security Breach definition

Security Breach means the unauthorized access to or acquisition of any record containing Program Customer Data or Prospect Data, whether in paper, electronic, or other form, in a manner that renders misuse of the information reasonably possible or that otherwise compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of the information; provided, however, that it shall also include any data or information security breach under Applicable Law.
Security Breach means any actual loss, unauthorised or unlawful processing, destruction, damage, or alteration, or unauthorised disclosure of, or access to the Customer Personal Data, and terms defined in a provision of this Appendix shall have the meaning given to them in that provision
Security Breach is defined in Section 11.5 hereof.

Examples of Security Breach in a sentence

  • There has not been (in the past three (3) years) and there is no Proceeding or claim pending, or, to the Company’s Knowledge, threatened in writing against the Company, and the Company has not received in the past three (3) years written notice from any Person regarding any Security Breach or any non-compliance with any Data Security Requirements.

  • In addition to, and without limiting the foregoing, Fund Services will promptly cooperate with the Fund, any of its affiliates, or any of their regulators at Fund Services’ expense (only if Fund Services is determined to be responsible for such Security Breach) to prevent, investigate, cease or mitigate any Security Breach, including but not limited to investigating, bringing claims or actions and giving information and testimony.

  • To the knowledge of Esquire, Esquire has not experienced any material Security Breach.

  • Fund Services shall bear the cost of the Security Breach only if Fund Services is determined to be responsible for such Security Breach.

More Definitions of Security Breach

Security Breach means a security-relevant event in which the security of a system or procedure used to create, obtain, transmit, maintain, use, process, store or dispose of data is breached, and in which University Data is exposed to unauthorized disclosure, access, alteration, or use.
Security Breach means an event in which District Data is exposed to unauthorized disclosure, access, alteration or use or a system configuration that results in a documented unsecured disclosure, access, alteration or use, in a manner not permitted in this Addendum, which poses a significant risk of financial, reputational or other harm to the affected End User or the District.
Security Breach means (i) any act or omission that materially compromises either the security, confidentiality or integrity of Named Entity Protected Data, or the physical, technical, administrative or organizational safeguards put in place by Vendor or any Authorized Persons that relate to the protection of the security, confidentiality or integrity of Named Entity Protected Data, (ii) receipt of a complaint in relation to the privacy practices of Vendor or any Authorized Persons or a breach or alleged breach of this Contract relating to such privacy practices.
Security Breach means a data security breach or breach of Personal Information under applicable Laws.
Security Breach means the unauthorized disclosure of student education records or student PII by a third party.
Security Breach means the unauthorized acquisition of or access to Customer Data by an unauthorized person that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of Customer Data, including instances in which internal personnel access systems in excess of their user rights or use systems inappropriately. “Security Breach” shall also be deemed to include any breach of security, confidentiality, or privacy as defined by any applicable law, rule, regulation, or order.
Security Breach has the meaning set out in Section 5.c hereof.
