Resident in Ontario with respect to a corporation, means a corporation that has a permanent establishment in Ontario in accordance with the provisions of Appendix B.
Resident in Ontario means, with respect to a Person, a Person that has a permanent establishment in Ontario in accordance with the provisions of Appendix B. In the case of Franchisors, it includes Franchisors who conduct business in Ontario through their Ontario Franchise System, regardless of whether the Franchisor has a Franchisor-owned fixed place of business in Ontario.3
