Publications definition

Publications means communication to the offices of a Member, including subscriptions to newspapers, and periodicals.
Publications means printed material in hard or soft form;
Publications include work formally accepted for publication by reputable journals or publishers, as well as book chapters in the candidate’s discipline, in interdisciplinary journals, or in journals devoted to the scholarship of teaching and learning, as well as creative works and works published outside the candidate’s discipline. In the case of librarians, “publications” may also include, but are not limited to, the organization and synthesis of existing knowledge, published or edited articles, bibliographies, books, book chapters, entries, reviews, and / or internet resources.

  • The Publisher may assign any or all of its rights and obligations under this Agreement to an affiliate, a successor to its business or a transferee of Publisher’s right to publish and distribute any Publication(s).

  • For the avoidance of doubt, any such amendment or cancellation under this Clause will not extend to or otherwise affect any Publications in respect of which access has already been activated.

  • If the Consortium fails to pay such sums to the Publisher, the Publisher may suspend access to any or all Publications or any portion thereof or may terminate this Agreement without liability to the Customer, and the Customer further agrees that its sole remedy in such circumstances would be against the Consortium and not the Publisher.

  • If the Customer is a Central Government Body, the Customer’s right to request paper form invoicing shall be subject to procurement policy note 11/15 (available at Procurement policy note 11/15: unstructured electronic invoices - Publications - ▇▇▇.▇▇ which sets out the policy in respect of unstructured electronic invoices submitted by the Supplier to the Customer (as may be amended from time to time).

  • The Customer acknowledges that the Publisher will not be able to provide accurate usage reports if the Customer stores the Publication(s) on any cache or proxy server, or accesses the Publications through an agent gateway.

Publications has the meaning set forth in Section 13.1.3.
