PFI ESMS definition

PFI ESMS means a PFI’s environmental and social management system, referred to in Section I.C.2.(b)(v) of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, for identifying, assessing, managing and monitoring the environmental and social risks and impacts at all times during the preparation and implementation of Sub-projects, in accordance with the Environmental and Social Standards, the ESCP and the ESMS.
PFI ESMS means Environmental and Social Management System satisfactory to the Bank established by each Selected PFI for the purpose of identifying, assessing, managing and monitoring the environmental and social risks and impacts of the activities under Parts A.2 and A.3 on an ongoing basis, and includes inter alia the following: (i) environmental and social policy; (ii) clearly defined procedures for the identification, assessment and management of the environmental and social risks and impacts of the activities under Parts A.2 and A.3; (iii) organizational capacity and competency; (iv) monitoring and review of environmental and social risks of the activities under Parts A.2 and A.3; and
PFI ESMS means Environmental and Social Management System satisfactory to the Bank established by each Selected PFI for the purpose of identifying, assessing, managing and monitoring the environmental and social risks and impacts of the activities under Parts A.2 and A.3 on an ongoing basis, and includes inter alia the following: (i) environmental and social policy; (ii) clearly defined procedures for the identification, assessment and management of the environmental and social risks and impacts of the activities under Parts

Examples of PFI ESMS in a sentence

  • The scope and complexity of the PFI ESMS will depend on the E&S risk of the PFI’s lending/investment activities.

  • Upon determination that the ESOM from the DFI and each PFI ESMS is appropriate to the risk profile of the PFI’s portfolio, the Bank approves the ESOM and each ESMS in a written memorandum.

  • Quarterly (1/Quarter) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the months of March, June, August, and December, unless specifically identified otherwise in the Effluent Limitations and Monitoring Requirements table.

  • Production Environment means a logical group of virtual or physical computers comprised within the Cloud Environment to which the Customer will be provided with access and use the purchased Cloud Application(s) in production and for its generally marketed purpose.

  • Clinical peer means a physician or other health care professional who holds a non-restricted license in a state of the United States and in the same or similar specialty as typically manages the medical condition, procedure or treatment under review.

  • Customer-Funded Upgrade means any Network Upgrade, Local Upgrade, or Merchant Network Upgrade for which cost responsibility (i) is imposed on an Interconnection Customer or an Eligible Customer pursuant to Tariff, Part VI, section 217, or (ii) is voluntarily undertaken by a New Service Customer in fulfillment of an Upgrade Request.   • Target Population means persons with low incomes who have one or more disabilities, including mental illness, HIV or AIDS, substance abuse, or other chronic health condition, or individuals eligible for services provided pursuant to the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act (Division 4.5 (commencing with Section 4500) of the Welfare and Institutions Code) and may include, among other populations, adults, emancipated minors, families with children, elderly persons, young adults aging out of the foster care system, individuals exiting from institutional settings, veterans, and homeless people.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • Meet-Point Billing (MPB means the billing associated with interconnection of facilities between two (2) or more LECs for the routing of traffic to and from an IXC with which one of the LECs does not have a direct connection. In a multi-bill environment, each Party bills the appropriate tariffed rate for its portion of a jointly provided Switched Exchange Access Service.

  • Distribution Compliance Period with respect to any Note, means the period of 40 consecutive days beginning on and including the later of (a) the day on which such Note is first offered to persons other than distributors (as defined in Regulation S) in reliance on Regulation S, notice of which day shall be promptly given by the Company to the Trustee, and (b) the date of issuance with respect to such Note or any predecessor of such Note.

  • HEPA filter means a high efficiency particulate absolute air filter capable of trapping and retaining 99.97 percent of fibers greater than 0.3 micrometers in mass median aerodynamic diameter equivalent.

  • PM10 emissions means PM10 emitted to the ambient air as measured by an applicable reference method, or an equivalent or alternate method, specified in 40 CFR Part 51, Appendix M as of December 8, 1984, or by a test method specified in these regulations or any supplement thereto.

  • Pump spray means a packaging system in which the product ingredients within the container are not under pressure and in which the product is expelled only while a pumping action is applied to a button, trigger or other actuator.

  • Furniture maintenance product means a wax, polish, conditioner, or any other product designed for the purpose of polishing, protecting or enhancing finished wood surfaces other than floors. Furniture maintenance product does not include: dusting aids; wood cleaners, and products designed solely for the purpose of cleaning; and products designed to leave a permanent finish such as stains, sanding sealers and lacquers.

  • Model 4 seller means a seller that is registered under the agreement and is not a model 1 seller, model 2 seller, or model 3 seller.

  • Wedge filter means a filter which effects continuous change in transmission over all or a part of the useful beam.

  • Volumetric Production Payments means production payment obligations recorded as deferred revenue in accordance with GAAP, together with all undertakings and obligations in connection therewith.

  • Food processing plant means a commercial operation that manufactures, packages, labels or stores food for human consumption and does not provide food directly to a consumer. “Food processing plant” does not include any of the following:

  • Cider means an alcoholic beverage made from the fermentation of juice from primarily apples or pears, or both, which contains not less than 1/2 of 1% and not more than 8.5% of alcohol by volume. Cider may be still or carbonated and may contain other fruits, spices, botanicals, or other flavors.
