Notification of Layoff. The Association President shall be informed in writing of an impending layoff action by the District at least ten (10) working days prior to the implementation of such layoff. In the event of layoff/reduction, employees shall be given the opportunity to volunteer for such reduction prior to determining which employees shall be adversely affected.
