Military Sector means activities to supply, maintain or enhance any aspect of the Iranian military, including, but not limited to, the research and development of nuclear weapons.

  • Military service means honorably serving on federal active duty, state active duty, or national guard duty, as defined in Iowa Code section 29A.1; in the military services of other states, as provided in 10 U.S.C.   • Qualified Military Service means any service in the uniformed services (as defined in chapter 43 of title 38, United States Code) by any individual if such individual is entitled to reemployment rights under such chapter with respect to such service and to the Employer.

  • Military means the Department of Defense (DOD), the Armed Services, Coast Guard, National Guard, Department of Energy (DOE), or other parties under contract or acting as an agent for the foregoing, who handle military munitions.

  • Military spouse means a person who is married to a military service member.

  • Military caregiver leave means leave taken to care for a covered servicemember with a serious injury or illness.

  • Military Leave means leave subject to reemployment rights under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994, as amended from time to time.

  • Military status means a person's status in "service in the uniformed services" as defined in section 5923.05 of the Revised Code.
