Medical Diagnostic laboratory definition

Medical Diagnostic laboratory means a laboratory with one or more of the following where microbiological, serological, chemical, haematological, immune-hematological, immunological, toxicological, cytogenetic, exfoliative cytogenetic, histological, pathological or other examinations are performed of materials/fluids derived from the human body for the purpose of providing information on diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, or treatment of disease;

  • Clinical laboratory means a facility for the microbiological, serological, chemical, hematological, radiobioassay, cytological, immunohematological, pathological, or other examination of materials derived from the human body for the purpose of providing information for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease or assessment of a medical condition.

  • Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

  • Participating Clinical Laboratory means a Clinical Laboratory which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Medical cannabis card means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.

  • Approved laboratory means a laboratory that is listed in the national conference of interstate milk shipments list of sanitation compliance and enforcement ratings distributed by the United States food and drug administration and as approved by the director.

  • Veterinarian means a veterinarian authorized by law to practice veterinary medicine in this State.
