Major PPA definition

Major PPA means each Power Purchase Agreement entered into with respect to output of the Harvest II Wind Project, the Xxxxx Wind Project, the Michigan Wind II Project, the Whitetail Wind Project and the Shooting Star Wind Project.
Major PPA means (i) the power purchase agreements for the output of the Major Initial Projects set forth on Schedule 1.1(B) hereto, and any replacements thereof, (ii) that certain Power Purchase Agreement, effective as of August 16, 2012, between Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the Xxxxxxxxx Project Owner, and any replacements thereof, and (iii) from and after the consummation of the Stateline Project Acquisition, that certain Renewable Power Purchase and Sale Agreement, dated as of August 17, 0000, xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx Edison Company and Stateline Project Owner, as amended by Amendment No. 1 thereto, dated October 16, 2009, and as further amended by Amendment No. 2 thereto, dated as of July 28, 2015, and any replacements thereof.

  • Major disaster means any natural catastrophe (including any hurricane, tornado, storm, high water, winddriven water, tidal wave, tsunami, earthquake, volcanic eruption, landslide, mudslide, snowstorm, or drought), or, regardless of cause, any fire, flood, or explosion, in any part of the United States, which in the determination of the President causes damage of sufficient severity and magnitude to warrant major disaster assistance under this Act to supplement the efforts and available resources of States, local governments, and disaster relief organizations in alleviating the damage, loss, hardship, or suffering caused thereby.

  • Major Event means an event which is likely to pose a serious risk to public health in relation to medicinal products in more than one Member States. Such an event concerns a deadly threat or otherwise serious threat to health of biological, chemical, environmental or other origin or incident that can affect the supply or quality, safety, and efficacy of medicinal products.
