Governing body of a county means the elected legislative body of a county;
Governing body means the board of county commissioners or a county council if a county; the legislative authority if a municipal corporation; or the board of township trustees if a township; the board of directors if a sanitary district; or the board of trustees if a regional water and sewer district.
County means the county of Los Angeles or any public entities for which the board of supervisors is the governing body. (Ord. 2002-0040 § 1, 2002: Ord. 2002-0015 § 1 (part), 2002)
Governing board means the Fund's Board of Directors if the Fund is a corporation or the Fund's Board of Trustees if the Fund is a trust, or, where duly authorized, a competent committee thereof.
Tribal Court ’ means a court with juris- diction over child custody proceedings and which is either a Court of Indian Offenses, a court established and operated under the code or custom of an Indian tribe, or any other ad- ministrative body of a tribe which is vested with authority over child custody proceedings.
Commissioners Court means Travis County Commissioners Court.
County board means a county board of developmental disabilities.
County officers means those county officers that are required by law to be
County Superintendent means the Executive County Superintendent of Schools designated by the Department of Education for this school district.
Public transit district means a public transit district organized under Title 17B, Chapter 2a, Part 8, Public Transit District Act.
County office means any officer, department, board, commission, agency, court, or other instrumentality of a county.
Board of County Commissioners means the Board of County Commissioners, Orange County, Florida, or their duly authorized representative(s).
Indian governing body means the governing body of any tribe, band, or group of Indians subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and recognized by the United States as possessing power of self-government.
Special Court means a Court of Session designated as Special Court under sub-section (1) of section 43;
Rural county means a county of the third, fourth, fifth, or sixth class.
SDA district means an SDA district as defined in section 3 of P.L.2000, c.72 (C.18A:7G-3).
Local governing body means the committee (if any) established by the Academy Trust in relation to an Academy or Academies, within the Academy Trust, in accordance with the Articles.
County officer 56032. "County officer" means a member of the board of

resident of a Contracting State means any person who, under the laws of that State, is liable to tax therein by reason of his domicile, residence, place of management or any other criterion of a similar nature, and also includes that State and any political subdivision or local authority thereof. Parish means the Church of England parish in which the Academy is situated or one which it serves;
Regional District means the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George.
Board of Commissioners means a county board of commissioners.
Judicial office means the office filled by any judicial officer.
County of residence means the county in this state in which, at the time a person applies for or receives services, the person is living and has established an ongoing presence with the declared, good faith intention of living in the county for a permanent or indefinite period of time. The county of residence of a person who is a homeless person is the county where the homeless person usually sleeps. A person maintains residency in the county in which the person last resided while the person is present in another county receiving services in a hospital, a correctional facility, a halfway house for community-based corrections or substance-related treatment, a nursing facility, an intermediate care facility for persons with an intellectual disability, or a residential care facility, or for the purpose of attending a college or university. State Controlling Body (SCB) means a state or territory motorcycling association affiliated as a member of MA;
