Any such assignment or subcontracting without such consent is not binding on the Regional District and gives the Regional District the right to terminate the Agreement.
The Society shall not assign this Agreement or any part or any benefit or monies accruing to it or sub- contract any work required to be performed by it under the Agreement without the prior written consent of the Regional District.
The Society acknowledges that the Regional District is subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA), that the Regional District may be legally obligated to disclose to a person parts, or all, of this Agreement and any documents legally connected to this Agreement, and that the authority of the Regional District to refuse to disclose a record containing third party confidential information is limited as set out in section 21 of FOIPPA.
PAYMENT FOR FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES For each year of the Term, for the supply of the Services to the Chetwynd Landfill, the Regional District shall pay to the Fire Department a sum (the hereinafter referred to as the “Annual Payment”) as defined in the attached Schedule ‘A’ ANNUAL PAYMENT SCHEDULE of this agreement.
In-Council or elected to full-time positions or office in municipal, provincial or federal government, or elected or appointed to full-time positions in the Canadian Labour Congress, BC Federation of Labour or Regional District Labour Council or The Canadian Auto Workers Union shall be granted as much leave as necessary during the term of such position or office.
