GHG Emissions definition

GHG Emissions the sum of the Company’s and its Subsidiaries’ total (i) Scope 1 emissions and (ii) Scope 2 emissions for any calendar year at their Global Manufacturing Facilities, with all measurements, quantifications and reporting of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions completed in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (Revised Edition) (GHG Protocol) and third-party verified to a limited level of assurance in accordance with ISO 14064-3.
GHG Emissions has the meaning given that term in the definition of Sustainability Metric.
GHG Emissions means carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perflurocarbons and any other gas substance that is the subject of the Convention and related protocols, treaties, agreements and instruments, or other gases, tradable renewable energy instruments, and other tradable environmental instruments subject to domestic, regional, or international regulation.

The metric tons of CO2e include Scope 1 (direct), 2 (energy indirect, market-based), and partial Scope 3 (only to the extent of business travels and sponsored buses for employee commuting) emissions according to the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Greenhouse Gas Protocols.
