Examples of Furlough hours in a sentence

  • Furlough hours are not used in the calculation for overtime eligibility, but are counted for all other employee benefits the same as if the employee is in active pay status.

  • Furlough hours shall not be paid hours, but the fact that there is a reduction from full time in the number of hours of paid status in any pay period in which a furlough is taken shall not constitute a part time status for the purpose of the calculation and entitlement of any benefit.

  • Furlough hours are not considered hours worked for purposes of calculating overtime.

  • Furlough hours taken on a holiday will not be paid hours, however, 10 hours of PTO time will be added to the employee’s account for each holiday taken as furlough.

  • Retroactive time entry (such as dock hours or change in regular hours worked) will cause the MCP system to re-calculate the number of Furlough hours credited to employees.

  • Furlough means a leave of absence without pay mandated by the employer because of financial exigency.

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.

  • Man Hours means the hours spent by the Supplier Personnel properly working on the provision of the Goods and/or Services including time spent travelling (other than to and from the Supplier's offices, or to and from the Sites) but excluding lunch breaks;

  • Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;

  • Daytime means the period between sunrise and sunset.

  • Regular Hours means the hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, excluding the following holidays: Presidents' Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

  • Support Hours means 24 hours per day with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day;

  • Destination means any place where the Insured expects to travel to on his/her Trip other than Return Destination as shown on the travel documents.

  • Normal Working Hours means between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive. Saturdays, Sundays, and County holidays are excluded.

  • Working Days means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales; and
