Fictitious name definition

Fictitious name means a name adopted by a foreign limited liability company that has filed a statement of foreign qualification in this State because its real name is unavailable pursuant to section 1508. [PL 2009, c. 629, Pt. A, §2 (NEW); PL 2009, c. 629, Pt. A, §3 (AFF).]
Fictitious name means a name used in business or trade that is fictitious and that the user has not registered or is not entitled to register as a trade name.
