Marks definition

Marks means trademarks, service marks, logos and design marks, trade dress, trade names, fictitious and other business names, and brand names, together with all goodwill associated with any of the foregoing.
Marks has the meaning set forth in the definition of Intellectual Property Rights.
Marks means any and all trademarks, service marks, trade names, taglines, company names, and logos, including unregistered and common-law rights in the foregoing, and rights under registrations of and applications to register the foregoing.

Examples of Marks in a sentence

  • All use of the Lime Marks by Uber will be in the form and format approved by Lime, and Uber will not otherwise use or modify the Lime Marks without Lime’s prior written consent.

  • Should the quality of the goods or services offered in connection with the Uber Marks fall below such standards, Uber reserves the right to terminate the permission to use its Uber Marks if the quality is not restored within a reasonable time.

  • All goodwill related to Uber’s use of the Lime Marks shall inure solely to the benefit of Lime.

  • The Lime Marks will at all times remain the exclusive property of Lime.

  • Uber hereby grants to Lime, solely during the Term, a limited, royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-assignable (except in connection with a permitted assignment under Section 13.8) license, without the right to sublicense, to use and display the Uber Marks, as required by Section 2.1(c), and as required or permitted by Section 6, but only if Uber, in writing, expressly approves of each proposed use and display.


More Definitions of Marks

Marks means trademarks, service marks and trade names as those terms are generally understood under applicable intellectual property laws and any other marks, names, words or expressions of a similar character.
Marks means the Brand and all other business names, copyrights, designs, distinguishing characteristics, domain names, emblems, insignia, logos, slogans, service marks, symbols, trademarks, trade dress and trade names (whether registered or unregistered) used in the System.
