Fallon Nevada Geothermal Plant definition

Fallon Nevada Geothermal Plant means the Nevada Facility, plus any additional geothermal energy driven turbine island generators and any other associated structures, machinery and equipment and other real and personal property owned, controlled or operated by the Seller in Fallon, Nevada. Currently, the Fallon Nevada Geothermal Plant is designed to include one turbine island consisting of a 15 MW turbine generator set in addition to the 30 MW turbine generator set and associated assets defined herein as the “Nevada Facility.”

  • Geothermal fluid means water in any form at temperatures greater than 120

  • Useful thermal energy means, with regard to a cogeneration unit, thermal energy that is:

  • Geothermal resources shall collectively mean the matter, substances and resources defined in subparagraph 16(a) and 16(b) that are not subject to this Lease but are located on adjacent land or lands in reasonable proximity thereto;

  • Electric utility steam generating unit means any steam electric generating unit that is constructed for the purpose of supplying more than one-third of its potential electric output capacity and more than 25 MW electrical output to any utility power distribution system for sale. Any steam supplied to a steam distribution system for the purpose of providing steam to a steam-electric generator that would produce electrical energy for sale is also considered in determining the electrical energy output capacity of the affected facility.

  • Winter Season means the period commencing on November 1 of any year and ending on the next succeeding March 31.

  • Uppermost aquifer means the geologic formation nearest the natural ground surface that is an aquifer, as well as lower aquifers that are hydraulically interconnected with this aquifer within the facility's property boundary.

  • Moving beam radiation therapy means radiation therapy with any planned displacement of radiation field or patient relative to each other, or with any planned change of absorbed dose distribution. It includes arc, skip, conformal, intensity modulation and rotational therapy.

  • Total tetrahydrocannabinol means the sum of the percentage by weight of tetrahydrocannabinolic acid multiplied by eight hundred seventy-seven thousandths plus the percentage of weight of tetrahydrocannabinol.

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • High radiation area means an area, accessible to individuals, in which radiation levels from radiation sources external to the body could result in an individual receiving a dose equivalent in excess of one mSv (0.1 rem) in one hour at 30 centimeters from any source of radiation or 30 centimeters from any surface that the radiation penetrates.
