Excess Power means that quantity of energy, and/or capacity in the PPLM Portfolio in excess of the energy and/or capacity required to satisfy PPLM's obligations under the Existing Contracts and Other Wholesale Agreements.

Excess Power means power supplied by the Company to Kennecott in excess of the Total Contract Demand. The kW of Excess Power for the Billing Period shall be the kW for the fifteen-minute period of Kennecott’s greatest use of Excess Power during the Billing Period. For each fifteen-minute period, Excess Power shall be equal to the Measured Demand minus the Total Contract Demand but shall not be less than zero. No charge for excess power shall be applied so long as Kennecott has provided notice as provided elsewhere in this Agreement.

Examples of Excess Power in a sentence

  • A Direct Sale / Allocation, Use of Excess Power Customer, Customer’s Authorized Recipient or Customer’s Agent may make a portion of the Allocation available to an Ultimate User for delivery at such Ultimate User’s electricity accounts under the tariffs, rules and regulations of the NYISO and the utility in whose service area such accounts are located.

  • If there is any portion of the energy associated with the Allocation made available to Customer or Customer’s Authorized Recipient (at a monthly load factor of seventy percent (70%) pursuant to the Authority’s regular scheduling requirements) that is not required to serve such Ultimate Users’ facilities, such energy may be utilized as Excess Power in the manner described in Appendix A.

  • The California Purchaser or California Purchasers that shall authorize and enter into the Excess Renewal Power Sales Agreement pursuant to Section 26; provided that in any event the California Excess Power Purchasers shall include Los Angeles.

  • The Agreement for Sale of Renewal Excess Power in substantially the form included in Appendix D to the Renewal Power Sales Contracts and completed and entered into pursuant to Section 26.6 of the Renewal Power Sales Contracts.

Related to Excess Power

  • Station Power means energy used for operating the electric equipment on the site of a generation facility located in the PJM Region or for the heating, lighting, air-conditioning and office equipment needs of buildings on the site of such a generation facility that are used in the operation, maintenance, or repair of the facility. Station Power does not include any energy (i) used to power synchronous condensers; (ii) used for pumping at a pumped storage facility; (iii) used in association with restoration or black start service; or (iv) that is Direct Charging Energy.

  • net power means the power obtained on a test bench at the end of the crankshaft or its equivalent at the corresponding engine or motor speed with the auxiliaries, and which is determined under the reference atmospheric conditions;

  • Solar Power means power generated from the Solar Photovoltaic Power Project;

  • Power Pool means the scheme operated by the Independent System Operator under the Act for exchange of Energy and financial settlement for the exchange of Energy;

  • Reactive Power means the wattless component of the product of voltage and current, which the Facility shall provide to or absorb from the Grid System within the Technical Limits and which is measured in MVAR;
