Station Power definition

Station Power means energy used for operating the electric equipment on the site of a generation facility located in the PJM Region or for the heating, lighting, air-conditioning and office equipment needs of buildings on the site of such a generation facility that are used in the operation, maintenance, or repair of the facility. Station Power does not include any energy (i) used to power synchronous condensers; (ii) used for pumping at a pumped storage facility; (iii) used in association with restoration or black start service; or (iv) that is Direct Charging Energy. Surplus Interconnection Customer:
Station Power means the Energy generated by the Facility and, whether metered or unmetered, used on-site to supply the Facility’s auxiliary load and parasitic load and/or for powering the electric generation equipment. Station Power shall not include any Energy generated by the Facility and stored for later sale or delivery to the Buyer under this Agreement.

Examples of Station Power in a sentence

  • The Customer receives deliveries of electricity from time to time directly or indirectly through the high voltage facilities to serve all or portion of the Customer’s Station Power requirements at the generating facility.This rate shall be mandatory for any Customer meeting the above listed criteria if such Customer arranges its own transmission service for delivery of Station Power into the generating facility, as described below under “Transmission Service Arrangements”.

  • Station Power does not include any Energy used to power synchronous condensers; used for pumping at a pumped storage facility; or provided during a Black Start procedure.

  • Station Power Protocol netting may not be supported by your retail provider, in which case the benefits of monthly netting may not be available to you.

  • Station Power includes the Energy associated with motoring a hydroelectric Generating Unit to keep the unit synchronized at zero real power output to provide Regulation or Spinning Reserve.


More Definitions of Station Power

Station Power means the aggregate Power generated by the Station from time to time.
Station Power means electric energy consumed in the start-up and operation of the Project, which is distinct from the alternating current output of the Project.
Station Power. Service shall mean the retail electric energy and capacity that is generally delivered to the Project by way of distribution facilities. For purposes of this Agreement, Station Power Service will be delivered to the Project: (1) by way of existing lines or line extension of IID’s distribution facilities, paid for by the Buyer in accordance with the provision’s set forth in this Agreement and IID’s line extension regulations; or (2) by way of the Project’s interconnection facilities operated by the CAISO, pursuant to the provisions set forth in this Agreement.

Station Power means electric energy consumed in the start-up and operation of the System, as distinct from the alternating current output of the System.
