Evapotranspiration definition

Evapotranspiration means the combined loss of water from soil by evaporation from the soil or water surface and by transpiration from plants.
Evapotranspiration means the loss of water to the atmosphere through both evaporation and transpiration, which is the evaporation of water from the aerial parts of plants.
Evapotranspiration means the combined loss of water from a given area, and during a specified period of time, by evaporation from the soil surface and by transpiration from plants.
