EUA means the Electric Utilities Act (Alberta);
EU GDPR means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
EUWA means the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018;
State Load Despatch Centre or ”SLDC” means the centre established by the State Government for the purpose of exercising the powers and discharging the functions under Section 31 of the Act;
EUMA means the “SAP Delivered Support Agreement” which sets out the terms and conditions under which SAP provides support to End Users and which will be provided by SAP on a deal by deal basis.
LIRA means a “LIRA” or “locked-in retirement account” as defined in Pension Legislation and, where those terms are not defined, means a registered retirement savings plan that satisfies the conditions under Pension Legislation for receiving funds that originate from an RPP;
Study Centre means a centre established and maintained or recognized by the University for the purpose of advising, counselling or for rendering any other assistance required by the students in the context of distance education;
Plinth means the portion of a structure between the surface of the surrounding ground and surface of the floor immediately above the ground.
GAC10 means granular activated carbon filter beds with an empty-bed contact time of 10 minutes based on average daily flow and a carbon reactivation frequency of every 180 days, except that the reactivation frequency for GAC10 used as a best available technology for compliance with MCLs under subsection 9.2.1.2 shall be 120 days.
MI 11-102 means Multilateral Instrument 11-102 – Passport System;
Eurozone means the region comprised of member states of the European Union that adopt the single currency in accordance with the Treaty establishing the European Community, as amended;
BOD5 (also known as TBOD5) means five day biochemical oxygen demand measured in an unfiltered sample and includes carbonaceous and nitrogenous oxygen demand;
NZOC means the New Zealand Olympic Committee Incorporated.
Law 11/2015 means Law 11/2015 of 18 June, on recovery and resolution of credit institutions and investment firms (Ley 11/2015, de 18 de junio, de recuperación y resolución de entidades de crédito y empresas de servicios de inversión) as amended or replaced from time to time.
NP 11-202 means National Policy 11-202 – Process for Prospectus Reviews in Multiple Jurisdictions;
Aquaculture means the farming of aquatic organisms including fish, molluscs, crustaceans, other aquatic invertebrates and aquatic plants, from seedstock such as eggs, fry, fingerlings and larvae, by intervention in the rearing or growth processes to enhance production such as regular stocking, feeding, or protection from predators;
PM10 means particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to a nominal 10 micrometers as measured by the applicable reference method or an equivalent method.
M2 is the calendar month, expressed as a number, in which the day immediately following the last day of the Interest Period falls;
Village means a village specified by the Governor by public notification to be a village for the purposes of this Part and includes a group of villages so specified.
Town means Town of Davie; “Seller” and “Vendor” means a business that sells goods and/or services to Town pursuant to this Invitation to Quote (“ITQ”).
clinical evidence means clinical data and clinical evaluation results pertaining to a device of a sufficient amount and quality to allow a qualified assessment of whether the device is safe and achieves the intended clinical benefit(s), when used as intended by the manufacturer;
PO or “Purchase Order” means this Contract.
