Corporation or Municipality means the Corporation of the Municipality of South Dundas and its officers or employees appointed to administer the provisions of this By-law;

  • Under the new Act where the landlord has no accommodation within the same Municipal Corporation or Municipality or, in other cases, within ten kilometers from the suit premises, the Controller will not be called upon to decide whether the existing accommodation serves or not the landlord's requirement.

  • The candidate should not be holding the position of a Member of Parliament or State Legislature or Municipal Corporation or Municipality or other local bodies (other local bodies means bodies such as Notified Area Council, City Council, Panchayat, Gram Sabha, Zila Parishad, etc.).

  • Municipal corporation means, in general terms, a status conferred upon a local government unit, by state law giving the unit certain autonomous operating authority such as the power of taxation, power of eminent domain, police power and regulatory power, and includes a joint economic development district or joint economic development zone that levies an income tax under section 715.691, 715.70, 715.71, or 715.74 of the Ohio Revised Code.
