Contribution Determination Period definition

Contribution Determination Period means the Plan Year, fiscal year, or calendar or fiscal quarter, as elected by an Employer, upon which eligibility for and the maximum permissible amount of any Profit Sharing contribution, as defined in Article III, is determined. Notwithstanding the foregoing, for purposes of Article VI, Contribution Determination Period means the Plan Year.
Contribution Determination Period for purposes of determining and allocating Employer profit sharing contributions means (choose 1,2, 3 or 4):

Examples of Contribution Determination Period in a sentence

  • Profit Sharing Formula 2 - In the same ratio as each Member's Salary for the portion of the Contribution Determination Period during which the Member satisfied the Employer's eligibility requirement(s) bears to the total of such Salary of all Members.

  • Profit sharing contributions shall be allocated to each Member's Account for the Contribution Determination Period at the election of the Employer, in accordance with one of the following options: Profit Sharing Formula 1 - In the same ratio as each Member's Salary during such Contribution Determination Period bears to the total of such Salary of all Members.

  • For purposes of making the allocations described in this paragraph, a Member who is on a Type 1 nonmilitary Leave of Absence (as defined in Sections 1.2(W) and 10.8(B)(1)) or a Type 4 military Leave of Absence (as defined in Sections 1.2(W) and 10.8(B)(4)) shall be treated as if he were a Member who was an Employee in Employment on the last day of such Contribution Determination Period.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Employer may not adopt the Social Security integration options provided above if any other integrated defined contribution or defined benefit plan is maintained by the Employer during any Contribution Determination Period.

  • Any such profit sharing contribution must be received by the Trustee within the time prescribed by law, including extensions of time, for filing of the Employer's federal income tax return following the close of the Contribution Determination Period on behalf of all those Members who are entitled to an allocation of such profit sharing contribution as set forth in the Adoption Agreement.

  • Once so transferred, such amounts shall be used at the option of the Employer to (i) reduce administrative expenses for that Contribution Determination Period, (ii) offset any contributions to be made by the Employer for that Contribution Determination Period or (iii) be allocated to all eligible Members deemed to be employed as of the last day of the Contribution Determination Period.

  • For purposes of making the allocations described in this paragraph, a Member who is on a Type 1 non-military Leave of Absence (as defined in Sections 1.2(U) and 10.8(B)(1)) or a Type 4 military Leave of Absence (as defined in Sections 1.2(U) and 10.8(B)(4)) shall be treated as if he were a Member who was an Employee in Employment on the last day of such Contribution Determination Period.

  • Once so transferred, such amounts shall be used at the option of the Employer to (i) offset any contributions to be made by the Employer for that Contribution Determination Period or (ii) be allocated to all eligible Members deemed to be employed as of the last day of the Contribution Determination Period.

  • Any such profit sharing contribution must be received by the Trustee on or before the last business day of the second month following the close of the Contribution Determination Period on behalf of all those Members who are entitled to an allocation of such profit sharing contribution as set forth in the Adoption Agreement.

  • If, with respect to any Contribution Determination Period, there is an excess profit sharing contribution, and such excess cannot be fully allocated in accordance with the preceding sentence because of the limitations prescribed in Paragraph (B) of this Section, the amount of such excess which cannot be so allocated shall be allocated to the Employer Credit Account and made available to the Employer pursuant to the terms of Article VI and applicable law.

  • Distribution Determination Date means, in respect of any Distribution Period, that number of business days prior thereto as is set out in the applicable Pricing Supplement or on the face of the relevant Perpetual Security;

  • Claim Determination Period means a calendar year. However, it does not include any part of a year during which a person has no coverage under This Plan, or any part of a year before the date this COB provision or a similar provision takes effect.

  • Contribution Period means the period specified in Article VI for which Employer Contributions shall be made.

  • Determination Period means each period from (and including) a Determination Date to (but excluding) the next Determination Date (including, where either the Interest Commencement Date or the final Interest Payment Date is not a Determination Date, the period commencing on the first Determination Date prior to, and ending on the first Determination Date falling after, such date); and

  • Allocation Period means (a) the period commencing on February 10, 2016 and ending on December 31, 2016, (b) any subsequent period commencing on January 1 and ending on the following December 31, or (c) any portion of the period described in clause (a) or (b) for which the Partnership is required to allocate Net Profits, Net Losses, and other items of Partnership income, gain, loss or deduction pursuant to ARTICLE IV.

  • SOFR Determination Date has the meaning specified in the definition of “Daily Simple SOFR”.

  • SOFR Interest Determination Date means the day that is the number of U.S. Government Securities Business Days prior to the Interest Payment Date in respect of the relevant Interest Period, as specified in the applicable Pricing Supplement.In addition to the Interest Periods and the Interest Payment Dates, the applicable Pricing Supplement shall specify and describe, as applicable, any relevant interest commencement date, interest period end date, interest determination date, index maturity, rate cut-off date, any other terms relating to the particular method of calculating interest on the Average SOFR Note (including any applicable payment delay, lockout or suspension period, lookback or observation shift) and any other terms applicable specifically to such Average SOFR Note.Term SOFR NotesUnless otherwise provided for or modified in the applicable Pricing Supplement, Term SOFR Notes will bear interest at a rate per annum equal to Term SOFR (as defined below) (or Specified-Tenor Term SOFR (as defined below)), plus the Spread.

  • Post-Distribution Period means any Tax Period beginning after the Distribution Date, and, in the case of any Straddle Period, the portion of such Straddle Period beginning the day after the Distribution Date.

  • Extension Determination Date means, in respect of a Series of Covered Bonds, the date falling two Business Days after the expiry of seven days from (and including) the Final Maturity Date of such Covered Bonds.

  • Election Period means the period immediately preceding the beginning of each Plan Year established by the Administrator, such period to be applied on a uniform and nondiscriminatory basis for all Employees and Participants. However, an Employee's initial Election Period shall be determined pursuant to Section 5.1.

  • Elimination Period means the period of 6 months beginning on the date You become Disabled.

  • Pre-Distribution Period means any Tax Period ending on or before the Distribution Date, and, in the case of any Straddle Period, the portion of such Straddle Period ending on the Distribution Date.

  • Contribution Notice means a contribution notice issued by the Pensions Regulator under section 38 or section 47 of the Pensions Xxx 0000.

  • Benefit Distribution Date means the date upon which all or an objectively determinable portion of a Participant’s vested benefits will become eligible for distribution. Except as otherwise provided in the Plan, a Participant’s Benefit Distribution Date shall be determined based on the earliest to occur of an event or scheduled date set forth in Articles 4 through 9, as applicable.

  • Interest Calculation Period means the period or periods for the calculation of the interest shown on the mortgage form;

  • Tax Limitation Period means the Tax Years for which the Applicant’s Qualified Property is subject to the Tax Limitation Amount and as further identified in Section 2.3.D of this Agreement.

  • Term SOFR Determination Day has the meaning assigned to it under the definition of Term SOFR Reference Rate.

  • Payment Determination Date means, with respect to any Payment Date, one (1) Business Day immediately preceding such Payment Date.

  • Index Determination Date means, in relation to any Index, a date on which such Indexfalls to be determined in accordance with the Conditions;
