Examples of Claim Determination Period in a sentence
Allowable Expenses under one (1) or more of the other primary plans covering the Member, in the absence of provisions with a purpose like that of this Coordination of Benefits provision, whether or not a claim thereon is made; exceeds Allowable Expenses in a Claim Determination Period.
The benefits that would be payable for the Allowable Expense under the other plans in the absence of provisions with a purpose like that of this COB provision, whether or not claim is made, exceeds those Allowable Expenses in a Claim Determination Period.
This paragraph does not apply with respect to any Claim Determination Period or Plan Year during which any benefits are actually paid or provided before the entity has that actual knowledge.
When this Plan is secondary, it may reduce its benefits so that the total benefits paid or provided by all Plans during a Claim Determination Period are not more than 100% of total Allowable Expenses.
