Compilations definition

Compilations has the meaning set forth in Section 19.06.
Compilations and/or "derivations" including, without limitation, literary, artistic, pictorial, graphic and other intellectual works owned or claimed by Company which are registered with the United States Copyright Office or the copyright office of any other jurisdiction, or are eligible to be so registered, or are entitled to protection by and under the copyright laws and treaties of the United States or under the equivalent laws of any other jurisdiction.
Compilations means compilations of programs with or without new elements (i.e. footage, hostess wrap, graphics, etc.).

Examples of Compilations in a sentence

  • Such information includes, but is not limited to, the following: Technical or Non-Technical Data, Formula, Patterns, Compilations, Devices, Methods, Techniques, Drawings, Processes, Customer Lists, Business and/or Marketing Development Plans or Information or other data of a similar nature or description.

  • Compilations of data or numerical information shall never constitute a “statement” or a warranty.

  • If a non-standard edition (such as GOTY, Special, Limited, Collector’s Editions or Compilations) will also be commercially available, the “Xbox 360 Royalty Tier Selection From for Non-Standard or Bundle Editions” must also be submitted.

  • K-Tel USA will not make any Capital Expenditure to acquire copyrights in Sound Recordings, Compilations and Compositions or long-term licenses (having a term of more than 5 years) of copyrights.

  • In addition, the Borrowers covenant and agree that Dominion, K-Tel Productions or K-Tel USA, as the case may be, may in its discretion determine to apply for registration of copyrights in Compilations acquired or created after the date of this Agreement.

  • Without the Bank's prior written consent, neither Borrower will make any Capital Expenditure (excluding any Capital Expenditure permitted below which is made to acquire copyrights in Sound Recordings, Compilations and Compositions or long-term licenses (having a term of more than 5 years) of copyrights) during its fiscal year ended June 30, 1996 or in any fiscal year thereafter.

  • The Borrowers represent and warrant that Schedule 4.16(e) is a true and complete list of all of the unregistered copyrights in Sound Recordings, Compilations and Compositions which were exclusively owned by Dominion as of July 22, 1994.

  • Accountants Compilations for 2010, 2011 and 9 months of 2012 attached separately.

  • In addition and subject to the respective underlying rights agreements, Company may, with Licensor’s written consent, edit any series of Programs in order to create Compilations, “wheels,” or “best of” Programs for use in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement: provided that such Programs are made available to Licensor at no cost other than shipping and duplication.

  • The Borrowers represent and warrant that as of the date of this Agreement no Affiliate of Dominion (other than Dominion with respect to the long-term licenses identified on Schedule 4.16(h)) is a licensor of any copyright in Sound Recordings or Compilations pursuant to a long-term license agreement (having a term of more than 5 years).

  • Databases means databases and other compilations and collections of data or information.

  • Compilation means providing a service to be performed in accordance with statements on standards for accounting and review services that are presenting, in the form of financial statements, information that is the representation of management or owners without undertaking to express any assurance on the statements.

  • Designs means your plans, layouts, specifications, drawings and designs for the proposed furnishings, fixtures, equipment, signs and décor of the Hotel that use and incorporate the Standards.

  • Data means recorded information, regardless of form, the media on which it is recorded, or the method of recording.

  • Supporting information means the experience and judgment of the filer and the experience or data of other insurers or organizations relied on by the filer, the interpretation of any statistical data relied on by the filer, description or methods used in making the rates and any other similar information required to be filed by the commissioner.

  • Desktop computer means a computer where the main unit is intended to be located in a permanent location, often on a desk or on the floor. Desktops are not designed for portability and utilize an external computer display, keyboard, and mouse. Desktops are designed for a broad range of home and office applications.

  • Firmware means software sold or licensed only in conjunction with machines, designed for execution only on a machine with which it is provided, designed only for machines other than a dedicated computer, and embedded into or installed on the machine by the machine’s manufacturer or seller.

  • Software means any computer software programs, including all source code, object code, and documentation related thereto and all software modules, tools and databases.

  • Protocols means written directions and orders, consistent with the department’s standard of care, that are to be followed by an emergency medical care provider in emergency and nonemergency situations. Protocols must be approved by the service program’s medical director and address the care of both adult and pediatric patients.

  • Computer database or “database” means a collection of recorded information in a form capable of, and for the purpose of, being stored in, processed, and operated on by a computer. The term does not include computer software.

  • Images means all types of visual content, including without limitation still photography, motion film or video and may include audio elements, whether generated optically, electronically, digitally or by any other means, and shall include all metadata, keywords, descriptions and captions associated therewith. Any reference to Images includes the whole or the part.

  • Database means the Commercial Driver Alcohol and Drug Testing Database of the Office of Driver Services of the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.

  • Accounting Information means the annual audited consolidated financial statements or, as the case may be, the quarterly unaudited consolidated financial statements, each in respect of the Borrower and the Group, to be provided by the Borrower to the Agent in accordance with Clause 11.6.

  • Trade Secrets means any trade secrets, confidential business information, concepts, ideas, designs, research or development information, processes, procedures, techniques, technical information, specifications, operating and maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, methods, know-how, data, mask works, discoveries, inventions, modifications, extensions, improvements, and other proprietary rights (whether or not patentable or subject to copyright, trademark, or trade secret protection).

  • Programming means the process of organisation, decision-making and allocation of financial resources in several stages, with the involvement of partners in accordance with Article 5, intended to implement, on a multi-annual basis, joint action by the Union and the Member States to achieve the objectives of the Union strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth;

  • Programs refers to (a) the software owned or distributed by Oracle that You have ordered under Schedule P, (b) Program Documentation and (c) any Program updates acquired through technical support. Programs do not include Integrated Software or any Operating System or any software release prior to general availability (e.g., beta releases).

  • Embedded means the placement of transmission or distribution lines, pipes or cables into the bottom of surface waters by minimal displacement of bottom material and without the creation of a trench, or trough, through the use of techniques such as plowing-in, weighing-in, or non-trenching jets.

  • Studies means activities needed to prepare project implementation, such as preparatory, mapping, feasibility, evaluation, testing and validation studies, including in the form of software, and any other technical support measure, including prior action to define and develop a project and decide on its financing, such as reconnaissance of the sites concerned and preparation of the financial package;

  • Developments shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9(e) below.
