Collectible Reinsurance definition

Collectible Reinsurance means all Reinsurance Recoverables other than any amounts a reinsurer has failed to pay when due under any Existing Reinsurance Agreement (after giving effect to any cure periods thereunder) where such non-payment continues 90 days from the date such payment was due (after giving effect to any applicable cure periods) or, if the reinsurer is contesting such payment in good faith, the date a final and non-appealable judgment or arbitral award is entered requiring the reinsurer to pay such Reinsurance Recoverables.
Collectible Reinsurance means reinsurance recoverables which are estimated to be payable under the terms of Ceded Reinsurance contracts, binders, certificates, policies, treaties or other written evidence of Ceded Reinsurance with any third party reinsurer which are reflected on the statutory financial statements of the Insurer Subsidiaries, net of any estimated allowances for uncollectible reinsurance, which shall be appropriately adjusted to take into account reserves established for purposes of uncollectible reinsurance relating to the Asbestos-Related Liabilities.

Related to Collectible Reinsurance

  • Reinsurance means the activity consisting in accepting risks ceded by an insurance undertaking or by another reinsurance undertaking or, in the case of the association of underwriters known as Lloyd's, the activity consisting in accepting risks, ceded by any member of Lloyd's, by an insurance or reinsurance undertaking other than the association of underwriters known as Lloyd's;

  • Insurance Contracts means the insurance or annuity policies and contracts, together with all binders, slips, certificates, endorsements and riders thereto, issued or entered into by any Insurance Company prior to the Closing.

  • Reinsurance Agreement means any agreement, contract, treaty or other arrangement whereby one or more insurers, as reinsurers, assume liabilities under insurance policies or agreements issued by another insurance or reinsurance company or companies.

  • Insurance Contract means a contract (other than an Annuity Contract) under which the issuer agrees to pay an amount upon the occurrence of a specified contingency involving mortality, morbidity, accident, liability, or property risk.

  • Insurance Policy With respect to any Mortgage Loan included in the Trust Fund, any insurance policy, including all riders and endorsements thereto in effect, including any replacement policy or policies for any Insurance Policies.

  • Insurance Policies has the meaning set forth in Section 3.16.

  • R&W Insurance Policy means the representations and warranties insurance policy issued to Buyer in connection with the transactions contemplated hereby.

Reinsurance Agreements shall include, but not be limited to, any agreement, contract, treaty, certificate or other arrangement that is treated as such by the applicable Department.

  • Environmental Insurance Policy means, with respect to any Mortgage Loan or the related Mortgaged Property or REO Property, any insurance policy covering pollution conditions and/or other environmental conditions that is maintained from time to time in respect of such Mortgage Loan, Mortgaged Property or REO Property, as the case may be, for the benefit of, among others, the Trustee on behalf of the Certificateholders.

  • Coinsurance means that you pay a percent of the total cost of the drug each time you fill a prescription.
