For this purpose, he shall address the Chief Administrative Medical Authority, where the applicant was examined previously.
A copy of letter in Form 3 addressed to the Chief Administrative Medical Authority shall be endorsed to the applicant and the Accounts Officer by the Head of Office.
The Chief Administrative Medical Authority on receipt of the communication from the Head of Office under sub-rule (3) shall inform the applicant as to where and when he should appear for medical examination before the Medical Board or if necessary direct the Medical Board to communicate to the applicant the place, date and time of such examination.
The Chief Administrative Medical Authority on receipt of communication from the Head of Office under sub-rule (3) shall arrange for the second medical examination of the applicant by a Medical Board which shall be constituted in accordance with the provisions of sub-rule (2).
The Chief Administrative Medical Authority shall, thereafter, inform the applicant as to where and when he should appear for medical examination before the Medical Board or if necessary direct the Medical Board to communicate to the applicant the place, date and time of such examination.
For this purpose Command Headquarters concerned/ Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions) will approach the Chief Administrative Medical Authority of the State or Union territory as specified in Appendix XIV to these Regulations.

Where it is not possible to arrange medical examination by the Chief Administrative Medical Authority, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions) shall make arrangements for the applicant to be examined by a Service Medical Board in authorised Military Hospital as per Appendix XIV.
