Animal fats definition

Animal fats means the fats entirely rendered from fresh, clean, sound fatty tissue of healthy animal at the time of slaughter and fit for human consumption as certified by a competent appropriate authority and they may contain additives and limits of which shall be as prescribed in Seventeenth Schedule to these Regulations;
