Aeronautics ’ means the science and art of flight.
Central Commission means the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission referred to in sub-section (1) of section 76 of the Act;
Diocesan Schools Commission means the education service provided by the diocese, which may also be known, or referred to, as the Diocesan Education Service.
Railways Commission means the Western Australian Government Railways Commission established pursuant to the Government Railways Xxx 0000;
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or "FERC" means the
City Commission means the legislative body of the City of Miami.
Finance commission means the Finance Commission of Texas.
Public Service Commission means the Public Service Commission constituted under this Constitution;
Planning Commission means the City’s Planning Commission.
County commission means the board of county commissioners of the county.
the Commission means the Charity Commission for England and Wales;
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) means the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission or its duly authorized representatives.
Civil Service Commission means the commission required under Section 5 of Article XI of the Michigan Constitution of 1963.
Securities Commission means the applicable securities commission or regulatory authority in each of the Qualifying Jurisdictions;
Airport Authority means any city or any public or private board or other body or organization chartered or otherwise established for the purpose of administering, operating or managing airports or related facilities, which in each case is an owner, administrator, operator or manager of one or more airports or related facilities.
Redevelopment Commission means the Fishers Redevelopment Commission.
European Commission means the European Commission or any successor entity that is responsible for granting Marketing Approvals authorizing the sale of pharmaceuticals in the European Union.
Securities Commissions means collectively, the applicable securities commission or securities regulatory authority in each of the Qualifying Jurisdictions;
Public safety agency means a functional division of a public agency, county, or the state that provides fire fighting, law enforcement, ambulance, medical, or other emergency services.
Port Authority means the Port Hedland Port Authority, being the body corporate established for the Port under the Port Authorities Act;
Public utilities means those utilities defined in sections 4905.02, 4905.03, 4907.02, and 4907.03 of the Revised Code; in the case of a foreign corporation, it means those utilities defined as public utilities by the laws of its domicile; and in the case of any other foreign issuer, it means those utilities defined as public utilities by the laws of the situs of its principal place of business. The term always includes railroads whether or not they are so defined as public utilities.
Aeronautical authorities means, in the case of the People’s Republic of China, the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, or any person or agency authorized to perform any function presently exercised by the said Administration; and in the case of the Republic of South Africa, the Minister responsible for civil aviation or any person or agency authorized to perform any particular function provided for in this Agreement.
University Grants Commission means the Commission established under section 4 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (Central Act 3 of 1956);
Joint Commission means the accrediting body whose standards are referred to in these Bylaws.
Public or private safety agency means a unit of state or local government, a special purpose district, or a private firm, which provides or has the authority to provide firefighting, police, ambulance, emergency medical services or hazardous materials response.
Water Authority means the body corporate known as the Water Authority of Western Australia established by the Water Authority Xxx 0000;
