ACCRUED SERP BENEFIT definition

ACCRUED SERP BENEFIT means, with respect to each Participant, the amount of liability that should be accrued by the Employer (i.e., determined without regard to whether such liability is actually accrued), under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”), for the Employer’s obligation to the Executive under this Agreement, by applying Accounting Principles Board Opinion Number 12 (“APB 12”) as amended by Statement of Financial Accounting Standards Number 106 (“FAS 106”).
ACCRUED SERP BENEFIT means the actuarially determined present value of a Participant’s SERP Benefit determined as of a given date.
ACCRUED SERP BENEFIT means the actuarially determined present value of a Participant's monthly SERP Benefit determined as of the Participant's retirement date under the Pension Plan or, if later, the Resolution Date, or, in the case of Plan termination, the date of such Plan termination.

  • Accrued Benefit means the amount standing in a Participant's Account(s) as of any date derived from both Employer contributions and Employee contributions, if any.

Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • Monthly Benefit means the monthly amount payable by Liberty to you if you are Disabled or Partially Disabled.

In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Death Benefit means the insurance amount payable under the Certificate at death of the Insured, subject to all Certificate provisions dealing with changes in the amount of insurance and reductions or termination for age or retirement. It does not include any amount that is only payable in the event of Accidental Death.

  • Termination Benefits means the benefits described in Section 4.1(b).

  • Severance Benefit means the payment of severance compensation as provided in Article III.

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined under Article V of this Plan.

  • Severance Pay means any amount that is payable in cash and is identified by a Participating Company as severance pay, or any amount which is payable on account of periods beginning after the last date on which an employee (or former employee) is required to report for work for a Participating Company.
