Accessible Taxicab definition

Accessible Taxicab means a Motor Vehicle that is both a Taxicab and an Accessible Vehicle;

Accessible Taxicab means an accessible taxicab as defined in section 1 of Regulation 629 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 (Vehicles for the Transportation of Physically Disabled Persons) made under the Highway Traffic Act.

Accessible Taxicab is a taxicab which is designed to accommodate one or more individuals who require the use of a wheelchair, without the need to transfer the individual from the wheelchair, which vehicles are otherwise subject to federal and provincial legislation applicable to the transport of Physically Challenged Persons and in respect of which an accessible plate has been issued;

• PARIS TAXI is required to make available for service a minimum of one vehicle that is equipped as an Accessible Taxicab as defined in the County of Xxxxx Taxi By-law.

• The City of Ottawa Council, at its meeting held on January 9, 2002, approved the purchase of the City of Toronto’s Ambassador Taxicab Training Course and the Accessible Taxicab Training Course.

More Definitions of Accessible Taxicab

Accessible Taxicab means an Accessible Motor Vehicle that provides dedicated service for the transportation of disabled Passengers and/or goods for hire or reward;

Accessible Taxicab means an Accessible Vehicle which is licensed as a Taxicab;

Accessible Taxicab means a class of Taxicab which is designed or modified to be used for the purpose of transporting persons with disabilities and is used for that purpose, whether or not the vehicle is also used to transport persons without disabilities and that is licensed as an Accessible Taxicab by the Township of North Huron. Accessible Taxicab means a Taxicab originally constructed or subsequently modified to permit the loading, transportation and offloading of persons confined to a wheelchair and which motor vehicle complies with Ontario Regulation 629, as amended;

Accessible Taxicab means a Taxicab which can be used for the transportation of passengers unable to board regular vehicles due to physical disability, and for transporting of passengers in wheelchairs or who use other accessibility devices for hire or reward and which has been approved by the Licensing Officer for this purpose

Accessible Taxicab means a class of taxicab which is designed or modified to be used for the purpose of transporting persons with disabilities and is used for that purpose, whether or not the vehicle is also used to transport persons without disabilities, as defined in Section 1 of Regulation 629 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 (Vehicles for the Transportation of Physically Disabled Persons) made under the
