Xxxxxx Sweeping. If during the term of this Agreement, circumstances 2 exist which require work associated with the Residential Street Sweeping Service 3 program that are not specifically provided for in this Agreement, the City Representative 4 may require CONTRACTOR to perform such other associated work (OAW). When 5 CONTRACTOR performs OAW, the labor, materials, and equipment used in the 6 performance of such work shall be subject to the prior written approval of the City 7 Representative. Examples of OAW that CONTRACTOR may be required to perform 8 include: 9 ▪ Performance of special sweeps 10 ▪ Flood clean-up 11 ▪ Street sanitation for parades and celebrations 12 ▪ Neighborhood clean-up activities 13 ▪ Any contingency where sweeper and supporting sweeper 14 equipment could assist in a particular instance. 15 CONTRACTOR will be compensated for the performance of OAW based 16 on the rates set forth in Exhibit 1 provided that CONTRACTOR has first secured written 17 authorization and approval from the City Representative to perform the work.
