Common use of Worked Holidays Clause in Contracts

Worked Holidays. In the event an employee covered by this Agreement is required to work on any holiday, he shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 2) his straight time rate of pay, exclusive of all premiums, in addition to his holiday pay if applicable. No employee shall be deemed to have been Arequired to work@ on a holiday within the meaning of this Section if he is absent from work for any reason, including illness, on such holiday.

Worked Holidays.
