Work Year Schedule Clause Samples

The Work Year Schedule clause defines the specific calendar period during which an employee is expected to perform their job duties each year. Typically, this clause outlines the start and end dates of the work year, the number of working days or weeks, and may specify any scheduled breaks, holidays, or non-working periods. By clearly establishing the annual work schedule, this clause ensures both the employer and employee have a mutual understanding of work expectations and time commitments, thereby reducing confusion and potential disputes regarding work periods.
Work Year Schedule. On or about May 1, but under no circumstances after the employee has finished his or her work year, the supervisor of each ten (10) and eleven (11) month employee shall meet with the employee to schedule the following work year. The supervisor shall send a copy of the agreed upon schedule for each employee to the Human Resources Office prior to July 1.

Work Year Schedule. The Superintendent shall be required to render two hundred fifteen (215) days of full and regular service to the District during the term of this Agreement. The Superintendent shall have the responsibility of assigning a certificated employee to assume a leadership role in her absences from the District. The Superintendent shall not be held liable for any actions taken by the person and/or Head Teacher in charge during the Superintendent’s absence from the District.
