Common use of WCB Payment of Benefits Clause in Contracts

WCB Payment of Benefits. Workers’ Compensation benefits shall be paid directly to the employee by the Workers’ Compensation Board. Upon submission of proof of payment from the WCB, the Company shall pay the difference between such payments and eighty (80%) of the employee’s normal forty (40) hour weekly straight-time wages for the period an employee is covered by WCB, to a maximum of six (6) months.
