WATERMAIN. This plat is subject to a trunk watermain special assessment under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429. The assessment rate is adjusted annually. The 2019 rate is $4,743 per acre. If the development contract is signed by the Developer and City in 2019, the assessment amount is calculated as follows: 4.825 acres minus 0.265 acres of wetland = 4.560 acres x $4,743 per acre = $21,628.08. The assessment will be spread over five years at 3.33% interest on the unpaid balance. The assessment shall be deemed adopted on the date this contract is signed by the City. The Developer waives any and all procedural and substantive objections to the special assessment, including but not limited to, hearing requirements and any claim that the assessment exceeds the benefit to the property.
