Watercourse Sample Clauses
The Watercourse clause defines the rights and responsibilities of parties regarding the use, maintenance, and access to natural or artificial streams, rivers, or channels that pass through or border a property. Typically, this clause outlines who is responsible for maintaining the watercourse, how water rights are allocated, and any restrictions on altering the flow or structure of the waterway. Its core function is to prevent disputes and environmental issues by clearly allocating duties and rights related to watercourses, ensuring both parties understand their obligations and the limits of their use.
