Common use of Voting Time Off Clause in Contracts

Voting Time Off. 56.1. Inspira may grant up to two (2) hours unpaid time off to vote in general, direct, primary and presidential elections under the following conditions: 56.1.1. The employee is a registered voter. 56.1.2. There is insufficient time for the employee to vote outside his or her regular working hours. An employee is considered to have sufficient time if the polls are open two (2) hours before or after the employee’s working hours. 56.1.3. An employee who has reason to believe that time off to vote will be needed will give their manager/supervisor at least one (1) week notice.
